Aquagen International announces merger with Hoodia Products International

To change its name to Hoodia Products International Inc.

24/06/05 Aquagen International Inc. has announced its merger with Hoodia Products International Inc.

In March 2005, Aquagen completed the sale of its assets to Electric Aquagenics Unlimited Inc. (EAU) for stock and EAU's assumption of certain of Aquagen's liabilities.

"Since last March we have been looking for a company into which we can merge our Aquagen public company. We believe that we have located an excellent candidate with superb future prospects in Hoodia," said Joanne Clinger, Aquagen's president.

With the completion of this transaction, Aquagen International Inc. will change its name to Hoodia Products International Inc. and obtain a new trading symbol within two weeks.
