09/06/08 PEZ Candy, Inc. introduces America's favorite flavor to its product line next month. With the addition of chocolate, PEZ now offers 13 flavors of its familiarly shaped candy tablets. Prior to this announcement, the two most recent additions were cherry and raspberry, both of which were introduced in 2005 (raspberry for the first time, cherry returned after a long hiatus). Some of the more unusual PEZ flavors that have appeared -- and then disappeared -- include anise, licorice, eucalyptus and chlorophyll.
