Amar Group enters carbonated soft drinks market
To initially target semi-urban and urban areas of eastern India with a new range of five flavours of carbonated soft drinks.
21/02/05 India, Amar Group of companies has said that it has entered carbonated soft drinks and packaged drinking water business with Rs two crore of investment.
The company invested Rs 2 crore in its Islampur factory and will invest another Rs three crore depending on demand. The capacity of the plant is 5,000 crates per day or 60 bottles per minute.
The company would initially target semi-urban and urban areas of eastern India with a new range of five flavours of carbonated soft drinks - Uniqola, Jazz, Frenzy, Jhakkas and Lemoncy.
The packaged drinking water would be launched under Aqua Mineral brand.
