Allied Brands to acquire Retail Brands

11/07/05 Allied Brands has entered into an agreement to acquire the assets of Retail Brands Group, including the Wendy's Ice Cream chain.
Retail Brands Group's assets include the Wendy's Ice Cream chain of 325 franchised outlets in Australia and New Zealand, an ice cream production plant in Victoria and the Australian rights for the operation and development of the Quizno's subway sandwich business.
