13 Jul 2010 --- Ajinomoto Food Ingredients LLC will introduce a new sodium reduction system called SALTANSWER at IFT 2010. The company has spent 2 years developing application systems which focus on delivering salt like taste to processed food products.
Sodium reduction in processed foods is fast becoming one of the most critical topics in the food industry. A major issue when salt is removed from a food system is that the flavor profile becomes bland and undesirable. Salt Answer RXAX has been developed to help address this issue.

He revealed that the ingredient statement is: Modified Potato Starch, Artificial flavor, Monoammonium Glutamate, Sucrose, Lactic acid, Citric acid, Hydrogenated Soybean oil, Silicon dioxide, Calcium lactate, Maltodextrin.
