A Seaquist Closures Custom SimpliSqueeze Cap for the New Lune de Miel Range
The PET pack, whose shape is reminiscent of a perfume bottle, enhances the pale gold colour of the honey inside, described by Michaud as voluptuous and sensual.
17 Dec 2009 --- Famille Michaud Apiculteurs, number one in France for honey, are radically changing honey packaging with their new Lune de Miel products; Honey & Rose and Honey & Jasmin. The packaging deliberately uses shape, vocabulary and colour codes which are habitually associated with cosmetic products.
The PET pack, whose shape is reminiscent of a perfume bottle, enhances the pale gold colour of the honey inside, described by Michaud as voluptuous and sensual. The custom gold SimpliSqueeze flip-top cap from Seaquist Closures provides the finishing touch to this elegant packaging.
Famille Michaud have been using the SimpliSqueeze silicone valve since 1999 when they won an Oscar de l’Emballage, the French packaging award, for their first SimpliSqueeze honey pack. The SimpliSqueeze system ensures clean and controlled dispensing, and prevents messy build-up around the closure orifice. The valve opens when the bottle is squeezed and seals immediately the pressure is released .
