Weber Continues to Bring Flavor and Fun to the Spice Aisle With the Introduction of New Grind'N Grill Seasonings

10/04/08 Weber-Stephen Products Co., the world's leading manufacturer of outdoor grills and grilling accessories, and ACH Food Companies Inc., a subsidiary of London-based Associated British Foods, continue to bring innovative and flavorful new grilling seasoning products to the spice aisle. As a follow up to last year's successful introduction of Weber Grill Creations, ACH Food Companies has just launched a line of adjustable seasoning grinders specifically designed for grilling.

New Weber Grind'N Grill is a line of five fresh and flavorful grilling seasonings packaged in a fun-to-use adjustable grinder. With a simple twist of the cap, the unique blend of spices and seasonings are easily ground, unlocking fresh flavor and aroma. The adjustable grinder puts the consumer in control of the amount of flavor and texture of their spices. By turning the dial inside the cap, spices can be ground to either a coarse or fine texture.

Data reported from Information Resources Incorporated indicates the grilling seasoning category has increased over 12 percent during the past year, and grinders have increased over 14 percent. According to John Leonardo, Weber Grill Creations Brand Manager, "Sales of grilling related seasonings continues to grow at double digit rates, indicating consumers are grilling more and are looking for unique flavor combinations to enhance their meals. Additionally, grinders are more popular than ever, as the grinding process releases concentrated oils in the spices, delivering a more intense taste and aroma."

Weber Grind'N Grill seasonings are available in five unique flavors developed for use for a wide variety of foods including beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and vegetables.

Weber Grind'N Grill Grinders (Grinders range from 3.5 ounces to 4.5 ounces):

* Chicago Steak (4.25 ounces)
- Add mouthwatering flavor to choice cuts of steaks or hamburgers before grilling with its garlic, onion, red bell peppers, and red pepper.
* Kick'N Chicken(TM) (3.5 ounces)
- Rev up the flavor in chicken, turkey, pork chops and fish with this spicy, well balanced blend with its onion, garlic, red pepper, orange peel, and red bell pepper.
* Roasted Garlic & Herb (4.5 ounces)
- A tempting combination of roasted garlic and fresh herbs including thyme, basil, oregano and parsley that will elevate grilled foods to a new level.
* Twisted Citrus Garlic(TM) (4.25 ounces)         
- A unique blend of lemon, lime, orange, garlic and red jalapeno will turn grilled fish and chicken from bland to grand.
* Six Pepper Fusion (4 ounces)
- A tasteful blend of six peppers including black pepper, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, hot red pepper, jalapeno pepper, and hot green chili pepper.
