For more than a quarter of a century Arjuna Natural Ltd. has been India’s leading manufacturer of standardized spice and botanical extracts for dietary supplement and food and beverage industries.

Established in 1992, the company has grown rapidly, with customers in 50 countries. The company has an R&D tie up with international universities from Australia, US and Japan. Arjuna’s production processes and products meet market-specific regulations worldwide. With a total manufacturing area of 400,000 sq.ft. its four manufacturing facilities for herbal extracts meet all international standards. Arjuna, an ISO22000:2005 company is a GMP certified, SAP driven company with Kosher and Halal certification.

Arjuna has over 75 international patents to its credit and of which majority are commercialized globally. The highly advanced R&D unit at Arjuna is a complete research facility for phytochemistry, pharmacokinetics, formulation and development, pre-clinical and clinical studies. The state-of the-art laboratory at Arjuna has been approved for in-house research by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Government of India since 2002. Arjuna launches preservatives which target frying oil shelf-life

15 Jan 2018 --- Arjuna Naturals Extracts has launched its natural preservative formulation for combating oxidation, thermal degradation, hydrolytic rancidity and extending the frying cycle of vegetable oils. The new, all-natural preservative formulation contains a few simple ingredients and enables a clean label. It is also GMO-free, oil-soluble and vegan. According to the India headquartered company, the initial response was so strong that Arjuna decided to immediately market this natural solution worldwide.

Plant Expansion Addresses New Market Opportunities

04 Oct 2016 --- Indian headquartered natural extracts company Arjuna is looking to expand its position internationally, amid a period of strong growth at the company. In April 2016, Arjuna reported a turnover of $40 million approx. for the 2016 calendar year, which was up by +22% on the previous year. The company is now expanding production at its Coimbatore facilities in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, with plans afoot for a doubling in capacity for the production of curcumin extract from the stalwart Indian vegetable turmeric and the upcoming launch of a 90% purity omega 3 oil, on the back of a series of recent technological breakthroughs.

Entering the Bakery Ingredients Space

08 Sep 2016 --- Arjuna revealed the launch of a new food technology division at the company’s Cochin R&D facilities in the south of India’s Kerala state. Joint managing director Benny Antony explains: “We traditionally operate in the nutraceuticals space, based on our past experience of 25 years. But at the same time we feel that the food segment also needs a lot of innovation. Based on our knowledge and people we chose to launch this new segment.”
