Witzel Leaves as Gelita Chairman
Dr. Witzel was appointed Member of the Management Board on July 1, 2006 and took over the position of Chairman of the Management Board as from September 1, 2006 from his predecessor, Jörg Siebert, who had retired from the company.
30/01/07 GELITA AG has announced that, effective January 23, Dr. Michael Witzel, Chairman of the Management Board, has left the company. This has come about due to unreconcilable differences in opinion between Dr. Witzel and the Management Board regarding the way the company is to be managed.
Dr. Witzel was appointed Member of the Management Board on July 1, 2006 and took over the position of Chairman of the Management Board as from September 1, 2006 from his predecessor, Jörg Siebert, who had retired from the company after being in office for 28 years. Current Members of the Management Board Klaus Hanke and Dr. Herbert Gareis will take over from Dr. Witzel until further notice.
