9 Apr 2010 --- WILD Flavors, Inc. is pleased to announce the company has successfully achieved the requirements set forth within the Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000), making WILD one of the first companies in the United States to attain this accomplishment.
The FSSC 22000 is based on the internationally recognized standard ISO 22000 and the British Standards Institute (BSI) specification PAS 220. This certification has recently gained full approval by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) following an extensive benchmarking process using international standards based on industry best practices and sound science. WILD customers can be confident that products purchased are not only of the highest quality but have been processed with food safety programs meeting the requirements of this stringent food safety standard.
