Widmer Brothers And Portland Timbers To Co-Brand Hefeweizen

06 Mar 2015 --- Widmer Brothers Brewing and the Portland Timbers announced the largest co-branded product launch between a craft brewery and a Major League Soccer (MLS) team. The best-selling craft beer in Oregon – Widmer Brothers Hefeweizen – is now “The Official Craft Beer of the Portland Timbers” and will feature Portland Timbers co-branded packaging for the entire 2015 MLS Season.

Widmer Brothers and the Portland Timbers have been partners for more than 15 years, and the two organizations announced a four-year renewal of their partnership. In addition to co-branded Hefe packaging, the Widmer Brothers Southern Front at Providence Park will soon feature new prominent Hefe in-stadium signage and field-level LED board displays. Most notably, the southwest corner of the stadium will feature a 16-foot tall Hefe glass.
