Upslope Brewing to Release Pumpkin Ale
18 Sep 2014 --- Upslope Brewing Company‘s Limited Release Pumpkin Ale once again marks the unofficial start of fall. Four-packs of the 16-ounce cans will return to shelves and taps in Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona and Texas the first week of October.
Every fall, Pumpkin Ale fans anxiously await the release of the 2011 Great American Beer Festival’s (GABF) gold medal winner in the Field and Pumpkin Beer category — this year is no different. The distinctive and flavorful ale retains its cult-like following while continuing to win over new supporters. Brewed with locally grown baby bear pumpkins from Munson Farms and a custom blend of six fall-flavored spices, the coppery/orange-colored 7.7% ABV brew truly is the ultimate farm-to-brewhouse collaboration.
“The annual party for this Limited Release fan favorite is a great way to welcome a new season,” said Upslope Head Brewer, Sam Scruby. “I’m excited to, once again, see so many familiar faces in our tap room enjoying this beer as much as we enjoy brewing it.”
Eager enthusiasts wishing to be the first to taste this year’s batch of the Pumpkin Ale are invited to attend Upslope’s Pumpkin Ale Release Party on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at their Flatiron Park tap room. The taps will be flowing with Pumpkin Ale as early as 11:00 a.m., however the official release takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Partygoers can look forward to live music from Alex Maryol and food by Heirloom food truck.
