Upcider Jouluomena, Now With Christmas Spices
The most popular cider of the festive season, Upcider Jouluomena, smells and tastes like Christmas. The new cider, with flavours of cinnamon and vanilla, is great for the Christmas party season as well as for quiet Christmas time enjoyment.
Upcider Jouluomena is a charming, festive winter drink. The Christmas cider, which has already become a tradition, has flavours of cinnamon and vanilla with a hint of cloves in the aftertaste. Upcider Jouluomena indulges both Christmas time gourmets and cider fans who love the flavours of the season.
“Cider lovers crave variation and delight in the flavours of the season. The Christmas-spiced Upcider Jouluomena is always an anticipated seasonal flavour, which sets the mood for Christmas parties but is also suitable for quiet Christmastime enjoyment,” says Brand Manager Juhani Mertsalmi from Hartwall.
The cider can also be served warm or used to add flavour to mulled wine, giving it a spurt of Christmas cheer.
“The cider gives a new flavour to many Christmas favourites. Try the Christmassy cider with traditional rice porridge as a flavouring for mixed fruit soup. Serve your Christmas party guests apple-flavoured homemade mulled wine, with a splash of spice and acidity from the Christmas cider,” says Riikka Kallonen, Hartwall’s food and drink expert.
As with all other Upcider ciders, only natural flavours are used in Upcider Jouluomena. The beverage’s alcohol content is 4.7 per cent by volume. Upcider Jouluomena is available as a limited edition beverage from October until the end of the year and is sold in 0.5-litre recyclable plastic bottles.
The favourite cider of Finns now comes in an even lighter and more ecological package. The new shape of the bottle decreases its carbon footprint, as less material is needed for its production.
