Ulrick & Short Launches Clean Label Starch Duo for Meat Industry
02 Oct 2014 --- Leading British-owned clean label ingredient specialist Ulrick & Short Ltd has boosted its already market-leading range of clean label and non-GM starches with the launch of two new, highly functional potato-based starches, Synergie 180P and 190P.
These new ingredients perform better than other potato starches available and have proved their worth in extensive trials with meat products. Synergie 180P is extremely versatile in both brining and tumbling of meat and reformed meat products, whilst Synergie 190P has been specially developed for related applications where starch needs to be held in suspension prior to injection.
These latest product launches further extend Ulrick & Short’s already unrivalled range of clean label non-GM starch and flour ingredients, in demand from almost every sector of the food processing and manufacturing markets. The firm’s technical expertise has led to the development of what it believes to be the widest range of clean label ingredients available to the meat sector from any single UK supplier.
