Twisted Pine Completes Major Rebranding Effort
16 Dec 2014 --- Following a seven-month rebranding effort, Twisted Pine Brewing will enter 2015 with new year-round offerings, a shift in style for its flagship beer, and completely redesigned packaging, the company has announced. In moving forward with a new look and updated lineup, the company, out of Boulder, Colo., has also retired four established products.
The brewery, which will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2015, partnered with Anthem Branding, a fellow Boulder company, for the portfolio refresh, updating the labels of its year-round line of core offerings, including Hoppy Boy, Billy’s Chilies, Raspberry Wheat, Big Shot Espresso Stout, and the most recently updated, Ghost Face Killah.
“It all starts with quality and ensuring that we’re taking advantage of every opportunity to enhance the caliber of our product and achieve consistency at that higher level,” said Jean Lund, who was appointed CEO of Twisted Pine last November, in a news release. “The new labels attached to those beers are meant to reflect the artistry and attention to detail that our team is investing into each batch we brew.”
The company’s flagship Hoppy Boy IPA was also reclassified as an American Pale Ale.
Since launching the rebranding initiative in June, the company has introduced three new beers – Hop Zealot IPA, Agaveras, and La Petite Saison – to its core line. That introduction, however, marks the departure of American Amber, Honey Brown, Blonde Ale, and Hoppy Knight, all of which the company has retired.
