20 Jul 2015 --- THE HOUSE OF ANGOSTURA award winning makers of bitters and rums, is honored to announce AMARO DI ANGOSTURA as the winner of the 9th Annual Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards in the "Best New Spirit or Cocktail Ingredient" category.
The win underscores the success and overwhelming support of the newest addition to the HOUSE OF ANGOSTURA family since its launch at Tales of the Cocktail in July 2014. In the U.S. market, AMARO DI ANGOSTURA and the entire portfolio of Angostura Rums is handled by Distell (USA) Inc.with plans to roll out the product to key major markets nationwide. AMARO DI ANGOSTURA was selected from among the largest nomination pool in the award show's history and a rigorous judging process by some of the most respected minds in the cocktail industry. The annual Spirited Awards recognize the very best bars, bartenders and ambassadors around the world and entail a rigorous judging and selection process by the industry's leading experts. Winners were announced at the Spirited Awards ceremony this past weekend at the Sheraton New Orleans during the Annual Tales of the Cocktail event.
