31/07/06 New Zealand energy drink e2 Energy has teamed up with popular national radio station, The Edge, to give away NZ$10,000 (US$6,063) in petrol (gasoline) vouchers.
With petrol prices soaring to record heights in New Zealand, e2 Energy can help consumers fill their petrol tanks via this innovative giveaway.
Each morning The Edge's breakfast show, "The Morning Madhouse," provides listeners with the location of a selected petrol station somewhere in New Zealand. The first 50 listeners to arrive at the petrol station with an e2 Energy drink receive a NZ$20 petrol voucher from the character "Dr Fill."
The competition runs for 12 days, using 12 different surprise locations scattered across the country.
The Edge and e2 Energy also are offering consumers the chance to win a free road trip to one of New Zealand's ski fields. The lucky winners will receive a NZ$100 petrol voucher to take them to the mountains, and four lift passes to get the winner and three friends onto the slopes.
