Tetra Pak CEO to Address Role of Dairies in Food Security at IDF World Dairy Summit 2013
25 Oct 2013 --- Tetra Pak will open the World Dairy Leaders Forum of the IDF World Dairy Summit 2013 on 29 October in Yokohama, Japan with a speech from the company’s President and CEO, Dennis Jönsson. Dennis will address the conference theme, “Rediscovering Milk”, within the context of food security, highlighting the critical role that the industry can play in helping to meet the expanding needs of a rising global population.
Organised by the International Dairy Federation and Japanese National Committee of IDF, the World Dairy Summit is the premier event in the industry’s calendar, bringing together 1800 specialists and decision-makers from across the globe for a week-long programme of conferences, workshops, technical tours and networking opportunities.
In addition to Dennis’ speech, Tetra Pak is also involved in other conference sessions, including a one-day conference on “Children and Milk”, a presentation on dairy policies and economies by Ulla Holm, Director Food for Development Office, and a speech on the topic of food and resources waste prevention by Erika Mink, Director of Environmental Affairs.
