Stratum Nutrition Signs Exclusive Partnership with Phytonet AG in Eastern Europe

Jan 11 2012 --- Stratum Nutrition, a Novus International business empowering product innovation with specialty and functional ingredients, has partnered exclusively with Phytonet AG to distribute its innovative fiber ARTINIA, and the joint health ingredient, NEM for selective Eastern European countries.

“Phytonet AG is a respected company with strong knowledge in the field of Pharmaceutical, Supplement and Food Industries”, says Michael Faber, Stratum’s World Area Manager for Europe and Asia, “and we are confident that this partnership, bringing along a wide network Eastern Europe, as well as a strong scientific support will allow the expansion of ARTINIA and NEM into new markets.”

Phytonet AG is an independent consulting company operating in the Pharmaceutical, Supplement and Food Industries with headquarters in Switzerland and Malaysia. Founded in 2009 by Dr. Cem Aydogan and a group of experienced experts, whose backgrounds span various segments of the industries mentioned above.

Phytonet´s key competencies center around business development and sales, establishment of Quality-Management-Systems (QMS), medical and scientific support with a reliable business network of agents and contacts in Asia and Eastern Europe.

ARTINIA is an innovative, gluten-free fiber ingredient that supports healthy arteries. This EU Commission approved novel food ingredient, and self-affirmed GRAS ingredient, has been shown to support cardiovascular health by protecting LDL-cholesterol from oxidation. Multiple studies have been completed to show ARTINIA is a safe, effective ingredient for supporting the body’s natural antioxidant system and defenses against oxidized LDL.

NEM, a natural eggshell membrane ingredient, is a natural, food-source ingredient that supports joint health.

The natural matrix of glucosaminoglycans, hyarolonic acid (HA), collagen, and other beneficial proteins supports joint comfort and flexibility within 7-10 days with a small (500mg), one a day dosage.

“I have confidence in both products as they fit well within the various industries which we focus,” says Dr. Aydogan. “I look forward to working with Stratum Nutrition in developing products to further such health concerns.”
