Squeeze, Chew and Chomp on New Wonka Sweetarts Rope and Shockers Squeez

04/10/07 The Willy Wonka Candy Factory -- Willy Wonka unveiled his newest candies from the factory, WONKA SweeTARTS Rope and WONKA SHOCKERS SQUEEZ.

"To continue surprising my faithful fans, I combined the flavors and textures of my favorite candies to provide a WONKAlicious experience," said Willy Wonka, candy confectioner genius and founder of The Willy WONKA Candy Factory. "WONKA SweeTARTS Rope is crunchy and chewy and the new flavors of WONKA SHOCKERS SQUEEZ are intensely sour."

NEW! WONKA SweeTARTS Rope are two chewy ropes of cherry licorice, full of SweeTARTS candy filling and crunchy NERDS. A sweet and tart flavor explosion with tantalizing textures tastes and colors.

NEW! WONKA SHOCKERS SQUEEZ is a colorful tube of intensely sour candy available in two flavors -- Mouth-Blastin' Berry and Tongue Trippin' Lemon. The squeezable tube offers an innovative way of eating candy that's interactive, portable and playable.

The release of these new products comes after the Oompa Loompas returned to the Factory in August to convince Willy to unveil the new candies. In June, two Oompa Loompas conducted the first ever candy heist at the Factory, taking a stash of top secret candies and sharing them with lucky kids across the country. The reaction was unanimous. Everyone wanted more of the new SweeTARTS Rope and SHOCKERS Squeez.

The candy making Factory has been abuzz with clinks, clanks and lights galore. First, the Oompa Loompas confectioned the new SweeTARTS Rope. They worked non-stop to create the tart filling with the perfect hue of blue and inserted a gazillion NERDS, making the candy a mouthful times two. Then, they mixed new flavors for SHOCKERS and injected them into the fun, squeezable tube. The intensely sour candy makes tongues twirl.

WONKA SweeTARTS Rope is available nationwide for a suggested retail price of .65 cents and WONKA Shockers Squeez is available for a suggested retail price of .99 cents.
