Sothys Chooses a Neopac Dropper For Their New Seasonal Skin Care
They declare that the packaging had to be easy to use for the end user. Safety and protection were important criteria. Another asset was an attractive design.
06 Mar 2013 --- Sothys and Neopac have enjoyed a long and successful business relationship. This particular business relationship started when Sothys was searching for packaging for their cosmeceutical range: Neopac offered the Polyfoil tubes to protect its content and formula.
This time Sothys was looking for the right packaging for their seasonal product, targeting skin types lacking radiance, called Sothys Oxy-minerals treatment and Oxy-vitamins treatment. “An essential dose of oxygen and vitamins to revitalise the skin for the new season”, was confirmed by Juliette Jouve (Treatment Development Manager) and Hannelore Cuveele (Packaging Development Junior Manager). They declare that the packaging had to be easy to use for the end user. Safety and protection were important criteria. Another asset was an attractive design.
Finding the right size of the packaging was very challenging. The Sothys products Oxy-minerals treatment and Oxy-vitamins treatment are a 3-weeks course of treatment applied mornings and evenings. Every drop was counted to match the correct size. A new packaging was born.
First experiences showed that people were a bit surprised and skeptical about the dropper, claimed Juliette Jouve and Hannelore Cuveele, but after two days of use, they appreciated this innovative packaging and said that the dropper compared to a bottle has several advantages: an easier to use, lighter and easier to close packaging. This agreement certainly contributed to the success of the launch.
