Sibling Revelry Releases Swing State Pale Ale for the Republican National Convention
19 July 2016 --- Sibling Revelry Brewing announces their release of Swing State, a new dry hopped pale ale just in time for the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. The founders of Sibling Revelry Brewing, the Kennedy Family and its brewery family, are celebrating the great people of Ohio and their importance to our nation.
"We celebrate the people of Ohio, particularly our hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, whose residents have demonstrated tenacity, perseverance and innovation. They have helped make this one of the greatest states in the country to live," says Co-FounderSean Kennedy.
Swing State Dry-Hopped Pale Ale is brewed with Nugget, Cascade, Equinox, Columbus, and Mosaic hops and Pale, Crystal andVienna malts. This light-bodied ale has a citrusy hop character and a dry hoppy finish, making it a perfect beer to enjoy duringCleveland's hottest summer months.
Swing State was announced at a special ribbon cutting ceremony on June 8th to celebrate the brewery's launch.
"The reception to the beer has been tremendous, and six-packs and kegs are selling at a rapid pace," says Kennedy. "It's a very drinkable summer beer, but it's still a crafted pale ale with a unique hop taste. With the RNC here, it has a limited edition feel to it. Many people are requesting it, and we have been constantly brewing and canning it. We hope everyone has a chance to try our new flagship pale ale."
Swing State is available for purchase at Sibling Revelry Brewing's taproom and production facility at 29305 Clemens Road inWestlake, Ohio. The new brew is available in 15.5 gallon kegs and 5.16 gallon sixtels, as well as six-pack cans in limited quantities. It can also be found in various stores, bars and restaurants in Northeast Ohio.
