The new range enables food and beverage manufacturers to create a sugar-like sweetness while masking the undesirable off-tastes which are often caused by high intensity sweeteners. The APSS range can be labeled as “natural flavoring”.
APSS is a development based on Sensient’s proprietary extraction technologies and the selective application of natural extracts. As a liquid flavor, it is completely soluble and stable in a wide range of food and beverage applications. Sensory testing has confirmed that APSS enhances the perception of sweetness and masks undesirable off-tastes associated with the use of high intensity sweeteners.
