8 Dec 2009 --- Sensient Flavors and Fragrances Group, a leading global flavor and fragrance company, has expanded its global extraction capabilities — including the previously named Templar line of  high-performance natural botanical extracts — into a new product platform called Sensient Natural Origins.

“With an enhanced R&D focus and expanded manufacturing capabilities, Sensient offers its customers increasingly selective extracts that give the natural flavor and aroma profiles of the original botanical material, offering food and beverage manufacturers advanced flavor systems that can deliver the authentic taste of the botanical from which it is derived, said Nicholas Evans, business development manager for Sensient Natural Origins.  “Additionally, Sensient Natural Origins addresses growing consumer interest in product provenance and ingredient simplicity.”

The Sensient Natural Origins product portfolio includes: Citrus, Herbs & Spices, Vanilla, Tea and Floral. The extracts can also be tailored and modified to meet specific customer requirements and customizations.

Created using proprietary extraction techniques that capture aromatic top notes resulting in highly concentrated and pure products, Sensient Natural Origins are suitable for use in a wide range of applications in the dairy, savory, sweet and beverage sectors.
