Purac Implements 8% Average Price Increases
According to the company, some key raw materials such as carbohydrates and auxiliary products have recently shown a steep increase in price. The costs of raw materials have a direct and substantial impact on the cost price of Purac’s products.
Aug 22 2011 --- Purac has announced plans to increase its prices by, on average, 8% with immediate effect. The price increase will be applied globally on all product ranges. The new sales prices will be effective immediately, as far as contracts allow.
According to the company, some key raw materials such as carbohydrates and auxiliary products have recently shown a steep increase in price. The costs of raw materials have a direct and substantial impact on the cost price of Purac’s products.
Purac claimed that it will do its utmost through innovations in products and processes to mitigate the higher cost of these raw materials.
