Promens and Arla Sign New Contract Covering Supplies of Bottles for Liquid Butter
The products to be filled in these bottles are the ”Kærgarden Steg & Bag” and ”Smör- & Rapsolja” which are sold on the Scandinavian market mainly Sweden & Denmark.
12 Jun 2010 --- Promens is proud to announce the signing of a long term agreement with European Dairy market leader Arla covering supplies of bottles for the liquid butter segment.
Arla has chosen to source their complete requirements for high quality HDPE bottles in the liquid butter segment, from Promens Food & Beverage Packaging.
The products to be filled in these bottles are the ”Kærgarden Steg & Bag” and ”Smör- & Rapsolja” which are sold on the Scandinavian market mainly Sweden & Denmark. The products supplied by Arla in this category are like all Arla products based on natural ingredients and therefore Arla has set up very strict demands covering hygiene level on the sites supplying Arla with these bottles.
To accommodate these requirements Promens has agreed to further increase investments in their site in Kambo (NO). The Kambo site are already running products to the European dairy industry in clean room conditions, and over the next months expansion of this setup will be rolled out to enable Promens Kambo to grow further into this demanding segment of the dairy industry.
Both parties expresses their expectations of a beneficial cooperation on this growing market, and also that this contract underlines the good cooperation that has been the foundation for many years of commerce between the two companies.
