Progressive Beverages announces the launch of HAN in the US

26/07/05 Progressive Beverages announces the launch of HAN, the first Asian Vodka in the US market. Made with pure spring water and four times distilled barley vodka, HAN is the only vodka infused with a polished rice spirit and filtered through a proprietary micro-carbon freeze filtration process.

In recent blind tastings conducted by GO Consumer Research, HAN was consistently selected 9 out of 10 times against super-premium western vodkas such as Absolut and Grey Goose.

HAN Asian Vodka's unique character extends beyond its great taste and advanced distillation process. HAN's packaging and merchandising design are world-class. Designed by Dennis Mukai, renowned designer, illustrator, and celebrity photographer, the oval-shaped bottle is the insignia of the legendary HAN dynasty. Translucent, multi-faceted and elegant, the HAN bottle is ergonomically designed for bartenders and adorned with the powerful and seductive halo of the signature HAN dragon.

The launch is officially celebrated with a series of parties held at Mood in Los Angeles on July 25th, Airport in San Diego on July 27th, and Ana Mandara in San Francisco on July 28th. Attended by leading bar, club, and restaurant owners, the parties will feature legendary DJs Johnny Knight and Jay-J, taiko drummers, firedancers, and the spectacular unveiling of HAN Asian Vodka signature cocktails.

The launch kicks off major distribution drives across California through Young's Market Company. Competitively priced within the premium vodka segment, HAN is available in select specialty liquor stores.

HAN can be enjoyed neat, over ice or mixed in a broad range of contemporary cocktails.
