The range consists of four creamy dips Roasted Garlic, Spring Onion, Sour Cream & Chive, Nacho Cheese and also includes a Spicy Salsa variant.
04/07/08 The new look Primula dips come with improved recipes and a new curvier pot shape and hits the shelves this month.
The range consists of four creamy dips Roasted Garlic, Spring Onion, Sour Cream & Chive, Nacho Cheese and also includes a Spicy Salsa variant.
Kate Winterton, Senior Product Manager at Kavli said: “Picnics and barbecues are hugely popular during the summer months and the re-launch of the Primula dip range is perfectly timed to capture these summer snacking opportunities.
“The sleeve is brighter and bolder and the design has been brought up-to-date with a more contemporary look to appeal to the target impulse snacking market.
“We have also taken the opportunity to improve recipes and to remove hydrogenated oil from the ingredients list to make these our best tasting dips ever.
“Additionally Primula’s Spicy Salsa dip now carries a pack flash to tell consumers that it contains less than one percent fat but still tastes absolutely delicious!”
These dips are not just for dipping and the new packs carry details of how to make more out of them. Serving suggestions include roasted garlic sauce for chicken, a quick and easy salsa pasta and a nacho dip and tortilla mountain for sharing on a night in.
Each 170 gram dip has a long shelf life and is suitable for ambient storage and display next to snacks and crisps. However, as they look so delicious, some retailers choose to sell them in the chill cabinet instead of other fresh, short life dips which helps to reduce their mark-downs and wastage.
They can also be used as a finishing salt - a tasty alternative to standard salt. Schwartz Cook Art Sea Salt Blends deliver a whole new flavour experience and are available in three flavours: Asian Spiced Sea Salt, Mediterranean Spiced Sea Salt and Salt Flakes & Mixed Peppercorns.
Schwartz Cook Art Sea Salt Blends are available in 55-77g round tins with a RRP of £2.29.
Available in major multiples from May onwards, the new Schwartz Cook Art range is packed into new premium brushed aluminium tins that are stylish and modern. Each size of tin has a small ‘window’ so that consumers can see the exciting ingredients inside.
The range design is vibrant and colourful, and is guaranteed to entice consumers to the fixture and create maximum stand-out on shelf. To ensure excellent execution of the Schwartz Cook Art range in-store, Schwartz merchandising teams will recommend optimum display, to maximize consumer purchase.
Sally Aisher, Schwartz spokesperson, says: “Schwartz is at the forefront of innovation and by bringing much-needed excitement to the herbs and spices fixture, this demonstrates our on-going commitment to delivering against the growing consumer desire for new flavours. This will encourage new shoppers to buy into the category and existing shoppers to buy more, both of which will drive growth in the category.”
The Cook Art range is being supported by a heavyweight press advertising campaign in weekend newspaper colour supplements and food/women’s magazines, website activity, couponing and consumer PR to educate consumers about the versatility and ease of using Schwartz seasonings to create delicious and exciting dishes.
