Plus Pack Launches New Plastic Containers
The new container is ideal for tapas, salads, antipasti, sushi, sliced fruit and similar ethnic and exotic snack food products.
Dec 8 2011 --- Demand is increasing for modern packaging concepts that save time and help make food products easier to eat.
Today’s consumers want to be inspired by ready-to-serve concepts – and Plus Pack’s new Gourmet Express plastic tray does just that.
The unique Gourmet Express modular system meets the high demand for new quality packaging concepts with a flexible range and multiple applications for exotic foods.
The new product is a 3-compartment sealable tray: 4405730001, 600 ml, 200 ml. per compartment, 250x120x31 mm.
Manufactured from clear APET, each compartment can be heat sealed individually, so that it cannot be affected by moisture from other compartments. As a result of the heat sealing capability, no lids are necessary.
The new container is ideal for tapas, salads, antipasti, sushi, sliced fruit and similar ethnic and exotic snack food products.
It has already been ordered by a leading Spanish food company to use with humus and tapas. The company imports and markets pre-cooked food and ready-to-eat meals.
Plus Pack has added a new black version to its range of DeliWave plastic containers. DeliWave is a family of clear delicatessen trays for use both in-store as well as for industrial filling.
The range provides good visual merchandising of products such as seafood salads as well as desserts, sliced fruits and vegetables, mayonnaise salads and many more.
The tray can be heat sealed, which helps to extend the shelflife of the product, and provides good stackability, which gives a safe and best possible presentation on shelves and in counters.
