15/06/06 Peet's Coffee & Tea, Inc., a specialty coffee roaster and marketer, today introduced a new beverage to its specialty drink menu -- the Scharffen Berger Chocolate Mocha Freddo. Just in time for summer, this refreshing chocolaty beverage delivers pure flavor and delicious taste because it is made with authentic, hand-crafted ingredients. Freshly brewed Peet's Deep-Roasted(R) coffee is combined with rich, dark Scharffen Berger Cocoa. These ingredients are blended with ice and then topped with whipped cream and Scharffen Berger chocolate shavings to delight the palates of coffee and chocolate lovers.
The Scharffen Berger Chocolate Mocha Freddo is the latest collaboration between Peet's and Scharffen Berger -- two like-minded specialty food purveyors who share the same commitment to quality and artisan traditions. The Scharffen Berger Chocolate Mocha Freddo joins an expanded Peet's Blended Freddo(TM) line which includes Caffe Freddo (regular and Extra Bold), Mocha Freddo, Madagascar Vanilla Freddo, Pure Caramel Freddo and Chocolate & Caramel Swirl. Each Freddo is prepared with fresh roasted Peet's coffee and authentic, hand-crafted ingredients to deliver a pure, refreshing and delicious taste.
Availability
The Scharffen Berger Chocolate Mocha Freddo and other Peet's Freddo beverages are available in regular, decaf, without coffee or dairy. They are available in 16-ounce and 24-ounce cup sizes at Peet's Coffee & Tea retail stores nationwide. All beverages are made-to-order by Peet's expert baristas to deliver the fresh taste of Peet's Deep-Roasted coffee in every sip.
