Nisshion and Irom form partnership

13/07/05 The Japanese based Nisshion OilliO Group and Irom have reached a basic agreement to form a comprehensive business alliance. As an initial step, Nisshion OilliO will transfer to Irom 80% of the outstanding shares in its consolidated subsidiary, Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Industry, as of July 29.

Additionally, under the new partnership, Nisshin OilliO and Irom will co-promote the integration of food and medicine. Specifically, the two companies will bolster their sales channels by leveraging their existing networks, as well as develop value-added food products by utilizing their respective proprietary materials and technologies. Through the alliance, Nisshin OilliO plans to outsource its upcoming clinical trials of functional oil and food products to Irom.arrow
