New player emerges in Allied Domecq race

US based producer and marketer of beverage alcohol brands Constellation is looking to add more spirit brands to its portfolio.
But now Constellation is also in on the act as it pursues acquisitions in the spirits industry. Last year Constellation, whose portfolio includes Corona Extra, Corona Light, Pacifico, Modelo Especial, Negra Modelo, St. Pauli Girl, Tsingtao, Black Velvet, Fleischmann's, Mr. Boston and Paul Masson expanded its wine business when it bought the Robert Mondavi Group.
