Ticaloid MP Powder is designed to control water at any temperature during the processing of mashed potatoes. "This system contains both a cold water thickener and a hot water thickener, so this blend is the perfect balance for mashed potatoes," explains business manager Greg Andon, adding that the product was developed based on feedback from and interaction with manufacturers looking for solutions to water-binding issues.

"It was originally developed for mashed potatoes, but we are finding that you can use it in any application in which you want thickness and water binding at various temperatures," he notes.
