Natural Extracts Used for Multifaceted Taste Experience
Plantextrakt had divided its "enjoy taste. enjoy diversity." product concept into four different taste categories. This meant that the trade visitors were able to test fresh tasting products, try products with a typically herbal taste and become acquainted with exotic taste experiences.
Dec 5 2011 --- The Plantextrakt Business Unit of the Martin Bauer Group presented its new "enjoy taste. enjoy diversity." product concept for the first time at the Food ingredients Europe, focusing on the vast range of taste experiences that can be achieved with natural Tea and Herbal Extracts.
Taste continues to be the basis of every successful product. Whatever the product - beverage, confectionary or dairy product - the most important prerequisite is that it tastes good to the consumer. The Plantextrakt Business Unit of the Martin Bauer Group therefore presented its new "enjoy taste. enjoy diversity." product concept at this year's Food ingredients Europe. This concept offers a range of very different taste experiences on the basis of natural Tea and Herbal Extracts. The Group from Vestenbergsgreuth presented 15 products including RTD beverages, yoghurt drinks, chocolate and hard candy. "Our dry and liquid extracts, strong tea infusions and tea flavours are attracting interest in the beverage industry and also in the dairy and confectionary segments," says Oliver Hehn, Marketing Manager at Plantextrakt.
Plantextrakt had divided its "enjoy taste. enjoy diversity." product concept into four different taste categories. This meant that the trade visitors were able to test fresh tasting products, try products with a typically herbal taste and become acquainted with exotic taste experiences. Furthermore, Plantextrakt also demonstrated how the beverage and food industries can make optimum use of tea as a flavouring ingredient in their products.
At the end of the fair, Plantextrakt summed up the results as being positive in every respect. Oliver Hehn: "We were able to demonstrate the taste diversity found in Tea and Herbal Extracts at the Food ingredients. We presented a few selected examples with our "enjoy taste. enjoy diversity." product concept, but it goes without saying that we also develop other very special and completely individual recipes in cooperation with our customers."
