02/03/06 Food and beverages giant Kraft is planning to invest $100 million to build a new plant near St. Petersburg in a move to satisfy Russia's growing taste for instant coffee.
The new plant is expected to have a production capacity of 5,000 tons per year. The new plant will work alongside Kraft's existing coffee-packaging facility near St. Petersburg.
