World's first organic Fair Trade Certified coffee soda.
11/11/05 Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. has introduced an exciting alternative to traditional soft drinks. Dubbed Double-Bean Elixirs(TM), these new carbonated coffee sodas offer consumers an environmentally friendly and socially responsible choice of cold beverages. Created from Green Mountain's own Fair Trade Certified(TM) organic coffee, the new Double-Bean Elixirs have received rave reviews from expert coffee tasters.
The Double-Bean Elixirs come in five flavors: original, vanilla, hazelnut, mocha, and almond. They are available in 12 oz. bottles and four-packs, and are being introduced first to select northeast retail locations including Shaws Supermarkets, Jolley Stores, MapleFields, Price Chopper, Hannaford Brothers, Stop & Shop, Whole Foods Markets, and in many other Green Mountain locations.
Patty Vincent, Coffee Product Manager at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters has described the Double-Bean Elixirs as "delicious and innovative new coffee products. These sodas have a very distinctive coffee taste and are well paired with other flavors to produce wonderfully intriguing beverages. The Double-Bean Elixirs are perfect anytime refreshers."
