26 Nov 2013 --- Lush, intense and amazing - three nouns adjectives that have been used by those who have been allowed to enjoy GlenDronach's latest cask strength batch, which was launched on 12 November.
In December 2012, distillery GlenDronach made his global admirers happy with producing her first cask strength single malt. All 12,000 bottles were sold out in no time and at the request followed by then batch 2 quickly.
And now batch 3 so all the turn.
GlenDronach's trademark, the combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, has also caused this batch for careful aging.
De Oloroso casks give the whiskey notes of fruit and toffee, while the Pedro Ximénez casks to add spicy seasoned. The result is a delicious sherried Speyside malt.
Combining good aging in oak and classic GlenDronach "spirit" gives an example of pure whiskey - straight from the cask 54.9% vol, non - chill filtered and natural color.

Hints of ruby by a body of deep golden amber.
Nose
Fantastic soft waves of "Golden Syrup" on dates and rum raisin in the background a little tangerine and ground almonds.
Toasted oak with a hint of cocoa adds a rich warmth and depth.
Palate
The spiciness, barley and "freshly sawn" oak, taste the flavor of ripe plums and yellow raisins. A delicate note of dried apricot and candied peel adds a fantastic sweet, tangy MTR. Subtle touches of milk chocolate soften the long expressive finish.
Finish
A perfect harmony of classic and elegant Highland kakrakters sherry influence.
