Glanbia Nutritionals Opens New Fortification Facility

Complementing its existing production plants in Germany, California, and its recently-opened nutritionals facility in Suzhou, China, the new facility aims to reduce lead times and optimise service levels for Glanbia Nutritionals’ customers.

4 Aug 2009 Glanbia Nutritionals has opened a new state-of-the-art vitamin and mineral premix facility in Missouri, USA. The 83,000m2 plant will enable the ingredient innovator to support its partners in the thriving food, infant formula and active nutrition sectors across the world.

Equipped with the latest milling, blending and packaging technology, the site opening is the latest move by Glanbia Nutritionals to serve the increasingly dynamic market for added value nutrition. Complementing its existing production plants in Germany, California, and its recently-opened nutritionals facility in Suzhou, China, the new facility aims to reduce lead times and optimise service levels for Glanbia Nutritionals’ customers.

The new North American facility is also kosher, halal and HACCP certified, reassuring customers of the safety and quality of the company’s premix solutions.
