Gerresheimer Produces the Glass Flacons for Mistral by Mäurer & Wirtz
The new bottle was specifically developed in a collaboration between Mäurer & Wirtz and Gerresheimer.
5/20/2011 --- Gerresheimer AG manufactures artistic glass and plastic packaging products for the prestige and masstige segment and is one of the most sought after partners to the perfume and cosmetics industry. As a result of this expertise, the company can respond promptly to individual customer requirements and it also has the technology to implement them under one single roof.
The mistral fragrance by Mäurer & Wirtz is inseparably associated with the famous wind of the same name and can be found in all the places where the mistral winds fill ships’ sails and propel surf boards across the oceans. At the end of March 2011, mistral was supplemented by twin fragrances that have established the brand’s lifestyle statement on perfume retail shelves.
The new bottle was specifically developed in a collaboration between Mäurer & Wirtz and Gerresheimer. It features a distinctive reduced design with unusual, organic lines that give it a dynamic, sporty and, at the same time, exclusive appearance. The mistral colors are incorporated in contrasting matte and shiny elements which further add to the flacon’s appeal and put a strong focus on branding. The glass flacons are produced in 30 ml and 50 ml sizes and bi-color printed in a ceramic screen printing process.
