Galactic Successfully Completes FSSC 22000
FSSC 22000 is the latest and most complete certification programme for food safety management systems and is based on ISO 22000, the global food safety management system standard, and PAS 220 which is a standard developed to address prerequisite program requirements for food product and ingredient manufacturers.
30 Aug 2012 --- Galactic, a leading supplier of lactic acid and lactates, is pleased to announce that the company recently received the Food Safety System Certificate (FSSC 22000) granted by ISACERT, one of the world’s leading internationally-recognised certifying bodies.
FSSC 22000 is the latest and most complete certification programme for food safety management systems and is based on ISO 22000, the global food safety management system standard, and PAS 220 which is a standard developed to address prerequisite program requirements for food product and ingredient manufacturers. It has been fully approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
FSSC 22000 ensures high quality and safe products vis-à-vis our customers based on international standards and requirements.
