Frico Launches New Packaging

17/07/2008 Frico – the premium brand distributed worldwide by Friesland Foods – has had a makeover, launching new packaging across all of its premium cheese variants.

The new packs – designed by DJPA – highlight the heritage and unique craftsmanship of Dutch cheese, aiming to achieve greater stand out for the brand internationally.

Elien Zwart-Dijkstra, Marketing Manager for Friesland Foods, comments: ‘We have invested heavily in the redesign of our flagship brand – ensuring that consumers recognise Frico as a natural, premium quality product that is produced in the Dutch cheese-making tradition.

Frico cheese is stocked in retailer delis across the UK and includes Edam, Speciality Edam & Gouda and Old Dutch Master. The UK cheese market is now worth £2,070,202,000 (Data - TNS 52 w/e 18 May 08).
