With increasing health awareness among Brazilian consumers and willingness to pay more for healthy products, this trend of new, innovative and personalized functional beverages should continue to fuel solid value growth in the market. According to data, the functional/fortified beverage market in Brazil is worth more than R$2.6 billion ($1.2 billion; €979 million) and has grown more than 70% in the past 5 years.
