Fortitech Appoints New Marketing Director
Prior to joining Fortitech, Schleif served as director of advertising with an Albany, New York based PR marketing firm where he developed and negotiated multi-million dollar advertising campaigns throughout the United States.
31/10/06 In a proactive effort to drive sales, Fortitech, Inc., the world leader in custom nutrient premixes, is pleased to announce the addition of Richard Schleif as its new director of marketing. Reporting directly to President and CEO Walter Borisenok, Schleif will be responsible for Fortitech’s overall marketing and strategic planning programs including market and business development, global advertising and public relations, direct/email marketing, collateral materials, trade shows, web marketing, and sales and distributor education support on a worldwide basis. Schleif will also be traveling extensively worldwide to attend conferences, trade shows and technical seminars to identify emerging trends within the nutrition industry and locate new market opportunities for Fortitech and each of its global affiliates.
Schleif has nearly 10 years of experience in marketing and strategic media planning. Prior to joining Fortitech, Schleif served as director of advertising with an Albany, New York based PR marketing firm where he developed and negotiated multi-million dollar advertising campaigns throughout the United States. Schleif also worked with OMD Worldwide in New York City where he served in several capacities including associate director of strategy.
Fortitech’s former director of marketing, Maria Battista, will now specialize in the strategic management and execution of Fortitech, Inc.’s global print and online advertising campaigns. Battista will also continue to serve as a key marketing player for Fortitech, Inc. and its global affiliates.
