Finlandia Vodka Boxes Constructed From AbbeyTex Win F&SEA Award
28 Jan 2015 --- DS Smith Sheetfeeding have announced that the Finlandia Vodka packaging, made from their textured microflute AbbeyTex, has won a Foil & Specialty Effects Association Award.
The F&SEA run annual awards to demonstrate the best foil stamping, embossing and other special effects which have taken place during the year. It is a culmination of the most creative, brilliant and technically difficult work
The Finlandia Vodka Boxes won the Silver Award for Creative Use on Folding Carton. The key feature which helped to win this award is that AbbeyTex’s surface is specially formulated to accept hot foil blocking. This was taken full advantage of, as the microflute was foil blocked in 3 colours, in a combination of graphics and text. There was a foil embossed white logo, flat stamp silver and foil emboss in silver and red foil emboss for reindeers.
