Figueroa Mountain Brewing Releases New Nut Brown Ale in Cans
11 Nov 2015 --- Buellton, California — The latest Hip Hoppy Series can release from Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. features a tribute to rapper Eazy-E with the name “Gimme that Nut Brown Ale” based on his popular 1990’s song, “Gimme that Nut.” Eazy-E’s persona was in the public eye again recently in the late summer release of the movie Straight Outta Compton which chronicled the rise of Eazy-E and his rapper friends in the music industry.
This seasonal set of beers, called the “Hip Hoppy” series, was created by founder Jaime Dietenhofer as a fun new line of beers that pay tribute to some of the most iconic names in hip hop music. The first two beers of the series, Weiss Weiss Baby Hopped and Czech Yo Self, were released in the summer of 2015.
“Our ‘Hip Hoppy Series’ is all about having fun and adding some humor to your drinking experience with our beer puns,” explains President and co-founder, Jaime Dietenhofer. “More importantly, it’s a delicious beer and perfect for the new fall weather.”
At 6% alcohol by volume, Gimme that Nut is an American Brown Ale with notes of hazelnut. It was brewed with Olde English-style hops and can be purchased both on draught in Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. taprooms or in 12-ounce can six-packs at select retail locations starting Friday, November 6, 2015.
