Fiberstar Appoints New VP of Sales & Marketing
05 Jun 2014 --- Fiberstar, Inc. has announced that Donald S. Thielemann has joined the Company as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He will report to CEO, John Haen, who expressed his expectation that Mr. Thielemann's business building strengths, experience and expertise will prove a strong driver of the Company's growth plans.
Mr. Thielemann joins Fiberstar from DST Associates, a CPG business development consulting firm he founded and served as Managing Director. He began his career with Procter & Gamble during which he lead the introduction of a National Accounts Division. Since P&G, he successfully served as chief sales & marketing officer for manufacturing, broker and media organizations as well as in general management roles all involving fast moving Consumer Packaged Goods. Prior to consulting, he held Hardlines & Home Private Brand responsibility, as well as product development and package design, at Kmart Corporation. He received his BS from Indiana University and MBA from Golden Gate University.
