Essential Flavors and Ingredients Pty Ltd Celebrate the Opening of Their New Flavor Factory
Over 80 business partners, including clients, suppliers and associates of the company attended to in celebrate the grand opening of the facility that opened for manufacturing on November 18th 2011. The party was complete with a ribbon cutting ceremony, string quartet and even Harley rides, which kept the crowd excited.
26 Mar 2012 --- Essential Flavors and Ingredients Pty Ltd celebrated the opening of their new purpose-built Flavor Factory in Carrum Downs with an on-site party.
Over 80 business partners, including clients, suppliers and associates of the company attended to in celebrate the grand opening of the facility that opened for manufacturing on November 18th 2011. The party was complete with a ribbon cutting ceremony, string quartet and even Harley rides, which kept the crowd excited.
“At Essential, we have always taken our business seriously, by ensured that much fun occurred from day to day,” said John Nielsen, Director of Essential, “We have always celebrated success and equally celebrated important milestones, such as completion of our superb purpose-built new headquarters.”
The innovative purpose-built facility features a suite of six laboratories, including a separate sweet lab, savoury lab and applications lab, as well as a large office and 1165 metre warehouse space, which includes three production rooms for effective production planning and product output. All guests who attended Essential’s launch event were given an exclusive tour by Managing Director, Tim Nielsen or General Manager - Operations, Greg Paroissien.
“[We] had three major objectives, 1) to build a technical centre for creativity, matching, testing and tasting flavors, 2) to design a more streamlined and increased capacity production plant, and 3) to create a fun, bright and an inspiring working environment for the whole team,” said Tim Nielsen, Managing Director, “The most exciting thing is that feedback from staff and clients is that we have achieved all three!”
The family-owned business was established over twenty years ago by owner and Director, John Nielsen, who has since been joined by his son, Tim Nielsen, as Managing Director and his daughter, Anna Nielsen, as Sample Coordinator. The Nielsen family are very excited to have moved Essential, along with sixteen employees, to their first custom-built establishment. The new facility will allow the company to continue their excellent customer service and premium business relationships that Essential is proud of.
“With our new facility and additional pilot equipment, we will be able to replicate more of our clients processes, and therefore be of even greater assistance to them,” said John Nielsen.
Essential’s Australian developed and made flavors enhance products throughout the food and beverage industry. The new facility will allow the company to undertake better research and product development in order to provide clients with an optimum service and assistance in a range of new product development from confectionery and beverages to baked goods, protein and dairy products.
