Eddyline Brewery Expands Globally to Nelson, New Zealand and Updates Branding
Eddyline Brewery has expanded globally with the opening of a brewery and pizzeria in Nelson, New Zealand. Eddyline is strongly committed to the concepts of quality and local community by exporting beer around the world negates both concepts. Opening in New Zealand will allow Eddyline to create the freshest beer and contribute to the local community while building the first of several 'Basecamps' for its loyal customers to visit.
"Molley and I have a vision for the Eddyline brand to grow internationally with individual Eddyline brewpubs serving as gateways to incredible places around the world," says Mic Heynekamp, Founder.
The New Zealand location is brewing the flagship Eddyline Crank Yanker IPA, among other Colorado recipes, while creating new beers that will become feature beers in Colorado. Eddyline New Zealand is continuing the tradition of serving casual gourmet food including wood-fired pizzas in a family-friendly environment.
With the continued focus on quality craft beer while targeting outdoor enthusiasts, the New Zealand location provides locals and tourists alike with world-class biking trails, kayaking and fishing, mirroring the landscape in Buena Vista, Colorado.
With Mic and Molley Heynekamp overseeing the new operation in New Zealand, long-time manager, Brian England was appointed CEO of the US operations. England's focus is on expanding distribution throughout Colorado and working with Mic and Molley to create synergy between the two Eddyline operations.
