DuPont Nutrition & Health Launches New “Do More with Dairy” Customer Campaign
The campaign consists of eight inspirational concepts highlighting innovative taste and texture possibilities within the fresh fermented, cheese and dessert markets, alongside new DuPont Danisco range introductions.

13 Jul 2012 --- DuPont Nutrition & Health launch the second in the series of ‘Do more with Dairy’ campaigns focused on dairy manufacturers in Europe and the Middle East by taking a fresh look at the cornerstones of the dairy industry, taste and texture.
“Consumer tastes and product textures are continually evolving, and dairy manufacturers are constantly on the lookout to introduce new, innovative and trend related products to take advantage of these new opportunities. By utilising DuPont technological and industrial capabilities, our ‘Do more with Dairy’ campaign offers some novel solutions for these opportunities,” said Signe Orberg, EUROW industry marketing manager – Dairy.
The campaign consists of eight inspirational concepts highlighting innovative taste and texture possibilities within the fresh fermented, cheese and dessert markets, alongside new DuPont Danisco range introductions.
The CHOOZIT MC series has been especially formulated to achieve the desired taste and texture in the fresh, cottage and continental cheese segments. The CHOOZIT MC range is a blend of selected strains allowing for fast and consistent acidification as part of a flexible manufacturing process with no compromise on diverse taste and texture requirements.
“The principle benefit of using CHOOZIT MC range is that it enables process flexibility so that it can be used in the manufacturing process of a number of cheeses. This also allows manufacturers to use the same culture despite a change in their process, for example the length (long and short) and the temperature (low and high),” said Annie Mornet, global business director.
The CHOOZIT ST 230 series answers an industry need for a soft stabilised cheese with the right taste and texture throughout shelf life. It forms part of the newest generation of direct starter cultures combining both performance and cheese quality.
“The CHOOZIT ST 230 series also ensures iso-functional performance and controlled acidification whilst providing bacteriophage control to help manufacturers improve the shelf life and functionality of their cheese,” said Mornet.
The YO-MIX 900 series has been developed for dairy manufacturers looking for a spoonable yogurt-style fermented product with a novel flavour profile. It provides a short and smooth texture with an attractive and stable flavour cocktail combining notes from both yogurt and sour cream.
“The YO-MIX 900 series gives a smooth and short texture with a unique flavour profile. From our high level of expertise in cultures and our large strains collection, we were able to develop these unique formulations giving a different taste and a balanced texture – applicable in set and stirred yogurt-styles, providing you a competitive edge,” said Sonia Huppert, global business director.
