Döhler Expands Fruit Processing and Flavor Capabilities Through Egyptian Acquisition

The globally active DöhlerGroup has announced the acquisition of the Fruit Processing and Flavour Unit of Delta Aromatic (DELRO). DELRO, the Egyptian specialist for fruit and vegetable ingredients, becomes part of the DöhlerGroup and will play a major role as the production and service hub for the dynamic markets in Africa and the Middle East.

25 Feb 2013 --- The Delta Aromatic's business units “Fragrance” and “Agriculture” are not part of the acquisition agreement and will be operated as independent company. The new company name of the production site in Cairo will be “Döhler Egypt for the Production of Natural Fruit & Beverage Ingredients S.A.E.”. Since its foundation 25 years ago, DELRO has become a key player in the region. The existing management of DELRO will remain on board and will lead the newly formed Döhler Egypt. The DöhlerGroup is a global producer, marketer and provider of technology-based natural ingredients, ingredient systems and integrated solutions for the food and beverage industry.
